Whats up guys I just picked up a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix GT, and I have to say that this is a fun car to drive. Like I said Im a Ford guy currently owning a 02 Mustang GT(sleeps in the garage) and 03 Crown Victoria PI(wife drives). This car was to good of a deal to pass up so here it is.

Now for future mods, since to dont wanna have two money pits this should be easy. First tint the windows, I feel like fish in a fish bowl without it. Then a new radio head unit and sub, Will I have any issues with the theft-lock or any thing else when changing head units? Then a intake so I can hear that whine(suggestions?) And maybe some rims but only if I see something i like. Thanks

intakes that dont enclose the filter tend to be louder than those that do.

They also tend to be cheaper.

    Something to consider

    Welcome.

Looks like it was in a accident since it has a aftermarket front bumper...

Make your own intake and you won't have any issues with your theft lock.

    Welcome boss.

I like the stang, looks very clean, only thing I dont like is the gas tank door. It would look cleaner IMO if it was still the body color.

The difference between GM and Ford are easy. You know how Ford puts a connector in the wire about every 8 inches. Pretend they aren't there and that's GM. You know how Ford tends to like a lot of oddly shaped and t'd into hoses, straighten them out and remove the T's... you got GM.

    Welcome.. nice stanger...
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Welcome. As for the headunit the only thing you lose is the date and time feature but that is normally replaced by the new headunit. Let us know what you are thinking about for going with a headunit as far as what you want.

Nice looking car there. Not even gonna ask what it does in the 1/4.

Oh, and the GP looks pretty sharp too.

Nice looking stable you have there. Being a Ford guy myself its nice to have some company, lol... You'll like that GP. Between my 00 GT and my 03 CV Sport I'm not sure which one will last longer. Both have been rock solid so far (disregarding the "bolt down the intake into the cylinder" mod I did to my GT, lol..) my GP rarely lets me down. And yes, you must find an S/C for that 'stang
