    Sorry guys forgot to say what kinda of car. Told ya I was new lol. I drive a 1999 GTP and some stuff the ex did to it. But atm its in the garage getting a new shifter. Couldn't get it out of park the other day and even the shift lock wouldnt work. Anyone else had or heard of this? Btw i am in NMB surrounding area.

    Welcome.. And my 97 has done that once.. It locked in first.. Played with the key for about 35 mins and rocking the car.. It came out and neva done it again

    hi to both of your guys. Yeah I rocked it and played with it and still nothing and even the guy from the shop that came to look at it couldnt get it to move. he had to manually do it from inside the shifter box. The Mechanic said i needed a new shifter that he has never seen one break before. But what i dont under stand is i only drove it 5 miles to the store and at first the key locked then i got it out. came back out of the store and poof damn shifter wont come out of park so i just thought it was the shifter wire harness. Sorry i talk alot when i am tired lol

    Its cool..and i was just driving too went and parked.. First the key got stuck in the on position after the car was off.. And in park.. The key wouldnt come out.. Then after that the shifter didnt wanna move.. But idk.. What it could be.. As of right now im going thru a trans swap.. I hope i dont have that problem afterwards
