    I was looking for a DD/winter car and I found white 98 GTP. It needs work...brakes, rotors, lines, valve gasket, and ??? cause I had it towed so who knows the rest.

    I only bought it cause it reminded me of my first car (99) it was white 96 SE (written out) basicly a GTP minus the motor and leather. First year of the HUD. Basicly I turned into a import guy. Owned a IS300, RSX-s, my summer cars a decently mod'd 01 Toyo MR2 Spyder...dont hold it against me.

    ps. I know how to search. Its my petpieve when new members ask all the repetive questions.

    Welcome back to Pontiac! Though I just wanted to point out that '96 wasn't even close to the first year of HUD. The first car HUD was introduced on was the '88 Olds Cutlass Supreme Pace Car, though there were only 50 replicas made of those, so I wouldn't consider them regular production. But HUD was also standard on the '89 - '90 Pontiac McLaren Grand Prix Turbo, and optional from '91 on up on all other GPs. They were also available on the other Cutlass Supremes through '94 I think it was (forget the exact year it stopped being an option).
    PREVIOUS: '89 Pontiac 6000 STE AWD (2/1376), '90 Pontiac GP SE McLaren Turbo (1/2749)
    '90 Pontiac Grand Prix STE McLaren Turbo (1/1000), '01 Pontiac GP GTP Special Edition (1/1341)
    CURRENT: '00 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP (ugh...boring regular one)
