Just joined this grand prix forum. I just purchased this 02 Grand Prix GT that has 40,000 miles on it. It is in mint condition. Let me know what you think.

    hi,

leave the exhaust stock, its a grand prix, not a v8 car. they sound like crap with most aftermarket mufflers

One of my friends has a 99 gp gt that has headers into straight pipes. No cat, no resonator, no mufflers. And it's not that it sounds bad. It's just obnoxious. It's way too loud for a car that would run 15s. If you just want sound and not a big performance gain. I would suggest just putting straight through design mufflers on. I have magnaflow straight through mufflers on my gt and they sound great. It's loud enough to get noticed but not obnoxiously loud where everyone thinks your a douchebag.
