I haven't tried the claybar yet, buffed it and it looks like it ate through the paint, the previous owner moved them but didnt clean the **** off so it ate through it looks like will try the claybar though.

it'll be nice when you get rid of the dealer junk, the hood scoops and that god awful vinyl. i love those wheels though. welcome to the site yo
itll be a nice looking car when that stuff is done!
Quite the change from my 04 aztek i had as my last car....... my gf is more interested in getting air fresheners than anything. I personally plan on getting smaller pulley on the super charger getting a new exhaust CAI and other goodies within the next month or so here. As far as cosmetics i plan on getting LED tails with the clear cover, taking off my vinyl. I dont want to do to much i wanna kinda leave her looking stock. Most kids in my area think GPs are mom cars and they can beat me in there civic with a fart can and a parkbench.
welcome to the site! careful dropping pullies with the genV blower. and, are those not compG wheels or am i losing my mind?
Those are comp g wheels. And you need to do some work before you even think about droppin a pulley
they are comp g wheels, I bought this thing completely stock a little bit over a week ago. I have big plans for it and am reading up on all the little things i need to do and look for while modding. Got my CAI coming and as far as the rest of the modding goes i will save that for probably after all the cosmetics. I wanna look pretty first . I am excited/ scared for the modding i have OCD so i expect perfection and if something goes wrong or I have an oopsy it will be a few weeks of anxiety before i can function again. So i dont plan on doing anything risky without first reading a million posts and looking at the negatives. Glad i came to the forum though lots of great advice I plan on using that to my advantage, seeing is this will be the first time I tinker with a car.
Have you paid for an intake yet? You can make one for far cheaper then buying. Made mine for under 40 bucks, filter included
Here's a thought. Do with it what you will. Intakes run 2 to 3 hundred bones. Build one and let pops buy you headers, which can be less then 3 hundred. Then you guys can install together? Anyhow make sure if. To do your homework before you do anything, and by all means ask questions.
just let his pop's buy him the intake if that what makes his dad happy, i wanted big rims.... but my parents wanted to buy me the same rims but only 16's, its a gift, except it
He wants to get the CAI but I will deffinately get the headers myself. And as far as the questions go I will ask all the questions that I can't find myself, thanks for all the advice and help. I plan on having my dad help me with some things but I want this car to be my project unless something is too hard for me to figure out/do. Nice to have knowledgeable people to help out and get advice from thanks in advance for the advice.
