Holy Crap this is awesome, lets hope this trend keeps going. We needs more hot chicks in GPs.

Welcome to the site, just keep in mind the stickies and the search bar for most problems, if you have trouble tho it never hurts to ask.

Thank you, everyone! I will def. see about checking the sensor before doing anything. It quit working after my brakes were changed. Do you literally mean just taking the wheel off as if I were changing a flat, and I can see it? (Don't hate! I was taking art classes on how to paint a car instead of how to fix one ): )

I'm actually from Missouri, but I hope you NC people still love me the same, because I consider myself a Carolina girl, haha. I live in Hickory, NC.

To the 2004 owners, I may PM you about your mods later, if you don't mind. (:

I *wish* a GT2 was supercharged! I don't know if it's my lead foot, or my natural Nascar skillage, but I still beat most of the cars that want to red light race. Pretty good for an automatic, factory stocked vehicle if you ask me! I guess we are all pretty sided on this matter, though.
(I failed to mention that most of my competition seems to be weed-eater civics)

Oh, and thank you for the link to the replacement... with pics. I'm definitely visual, so that helps me even know where it is to check it as well! Gold stars all around, lol.

I'm down in Forest City, an hour away, for a couple weeks a year. It's very clear to me that nobody there has any idea what they're doing with a car (in fact, most "custom" jobs are lifted 24" chrome rim donks) - plus, most people would rather put money into their trucks (who doesn't have a truck down there?), so if Hickory is anything like that, you're pretty set.

I lived in the bootheel of Missouri, so I was about 5 hours southeast of LOTO, but it definitely is beautiful there, and an awesome place to hang out during the summer!

Yeah, there are four types of custom vehicles here... Big trucks with stacks, lifted forever up in the air, small S-10s lowered with big rims and jesus/mary on the back window, ricer cars, or old crown vics on spinning 24" wheels with food theme decals on them (skittles, lucky charms..)

    (: true story!!!!!!!!

Since I haven't lived here too long, I don't know which of the many custom shops I could hit up for some decent priced work. By the time I can afford all the needed tools and learn how to do it all by myself, we will be driving Jetsons style, lol!

Jack, jackstands, a couple socket wrenches and sockets, flathead screwdriver, oil pan, a couple wrenches... Snag the jack, jackstands, and pan new from Harbor Freight, then grab the rest of the tools from a pawn shop, which there are millions of down there, full of grimy tools. Total cost? Maybe $75?

LOL go to Lowes, Home Depot, etc... they always have sales on the little tool sets, most of those will run $20-40 and have most of everything you need to do regular maintenance work

Walmart and auto stores usually have jacks and stands, don't need the top of the line stuff to get the jobs done, just make sure it works well enough to keep you safe before you crawl up underneath the car.
