Hello all, my names Zack Dragan Im 21 and im from Midland MI. I remember back in the day when i was little watching tv and the "wide body" grand prix comercial came on and from that day I wanted a GP. Im not a master machanic at all but i have allways had a need to know about cars and a want to work on them. after high school in 08 was really the first chance i got to start working with cars i saved up 700 bucks and picked up a 1983 Firebird witch i drive in the summer and tryed to work on in the winter. I have normally drove beaters because i had a **** ass job making 7.50 an hour and im not the best at saving money. Now back to the GP stuff about 2 months ago i got a great job and things are now way better for me so my first thing i did with my new income was take out an auto loan for 3 grand. after looking for sometime i found a great 99 GTP 4 door. I got this car last monday and its crazy how happy its made me. its black with the real dark interier think its black but could be ebiny? idk but its just what i wanted its all power with the moonroof and HUD up i think its got all the opps. All week i have drove it like a stoned granny slow with a smile from ear to ear. But the sad part Friday i got out of work witch is 11 at night and was on my way to my girls house when like 80 feet from her drive way i hit a monster of a deer doing 45. the car has heavy damage um dont really know whats going to happen now cuz my claim wont get looked at till tomorrow morning "in a few hours" but yeah um sorry for all the bad spelling but happy to be a GP guy now, ill have pics up soon of the car when i got it and after the deer and so on but thanks all for reading this I hope to learn many things

    Thanks all, Dragan

Welcome and good luck with the insurance. Sorry to hear about this bad luck, but hopefully it shakes out.

    Welcome..

I'd like to suggest considering the F body brake mod with some nice Centric or R1 Concept rotors and good pads. It's amazing how much faster the car can stop with the upgrades.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Damn dude... Sorry to hear it! Looks like an easy fix though if for some crazy reason the insurance company wants to fight you. And don't feel bad, I used to live in MI and have seen how crazy those deer get. Never hit one myself but been in the car with plenty hits. One even ran into the side of the car while cruising 55 and caved the door in...lol

NP hood bumper and fender. I would say 1500. Provided there is not structure damage.

$1500 haha I'm sure my insurance company is glad you don't adjust claims for them. I just hit a deer also in my gtp and it wasn't near that bad and it was $2337.22 to fix it!

GTX hood $724 from 3800 performance, $384 for hood labor/prep work, $90 shipping and that's just the hood. Cost me well over $3 grand, I think they will total that GP
