just bought my uncles 2002 gt grand prix for my winter car. i drive a 97 v8 tbird and am apart of the tccoa forum. but i still have high hopes for the grand prix.. probably will eventually turn into another summer car... ha.
it has 141000 miles with a used engine swap that has about 90000 on it. body is pretty rough runs good though. i know right now that the car needs
new door hinges (he has indented the fenders opening and closing the sagging doors), heater core replacement, and drivers side window motor ( window does not go down). its fully loaded and for 200 bucks to take it off his hands i didnt think that was too bad. not sure what engine, almost positive its the 3.8 being its the gt (hope he wouldn't have swapped for a smaller engine in it). if you guys can direct me or give me advice on any of it that would be great! thanks. may my searching begin.....

Hey welcome. Make sure to get the car in good shape before trying to pt any performance parts in dont want to blow it up cause its not in shape :)

car runs great. mechanically. cosmetically it needs work. detailed the interior and refurbished the headlights to make them look new tonight. tomorrow. VHT nightshadeing the taillights. painting the calipers (all four) and painting the not so appealing chrome rims gloss black. going for a blacked out look. it is a winter driver so not going with rims. going to de badge someone soon maybe tomorrow. then both door hinges and front fenders by the end of sept. tint the rear and eyebrow in 5 and front two in 35. and maybe in the way future an intake tune and catback exhaust just to give it a little more go. to expensive to be moding two cars at once. I'll get pics of the car and pics as I go along. thanks for the links!
