Hey all. New to the forum here, thought I'd drop in and say hey. I just bought my wife (and myself) a '98 GTP, stock, loaded w/ leather, and 82k miles. I drive a '96 Z-28 'vert in the summer, but it was time to replace her daily drive with something a bit nicer, and something we can both live with in the winter. I owned a 99 Grand Am for a little over 5yrs and 120k miles, so this kind of Pontiac feels right at home. I've had limited experience with GTP's, but always thought they'd make a good daily driver that was reasonably quick, one test drive confirmed both the comfort, and the quickness. Now I just have to budget for my wifes speeding tickets with all this new found power - she's coming from our 2000 Monte Carlo with the 3400 thats in pretty rough shape, so she's gonna love all the motor. (This is the kinda gal that picks fights with Mustangs every time she's behind the wheel of the F-body.)
Anyways, I figure I'll need the forum as a resource from time to time, so I'd at least make a hello. I don't anticipate mods, but you never know. My last Pontiac ended up with intake, headers, exhaust and a tune, and worked its way into the GrandAmGT.com calander in 2005.
