Thread: $200 gtp project

well first i would like to say hello to all. im brandon im 23 year old operator from central il. now for the story my sisiter used to have a 99 2dr gt that when i was about 17 i totalled but i was not at falt she then upgraded to a 00 4dr gtp drove if up untell about 2years ago and was going to trade it in but our cuzin picked it up for around 2 grand i think now he has hit a deer i will get pics up asap but damage is not bad at all needs cv axels and the blower belt has been off for about 9mo over thanksgiving dinner he mentioned that he was going to get rid of it and i picked it up for $200 bucks it has about 220k on it

so hears the thing i travel a lot and have a grand cherokee on 35's that gets about 13mpg so im thinking this will be a grat car to have for the price i cant go wrong but why not have some fun with it as well so im looking for input on where to put some money at it and would like to keep my budget under a grand in parts and can do all the work myself

what im think for starters will come the axels of corse and then a belt and pully. would like info on witch size to go with
then i would like to get a programer and again would like some info and what to go with and exhast intake and so on

so let me know what some good combos are i could go with any info will help and i will start my searching
