Not new, been a member for a while, yes I am still alive.

I have my final court for my kids adoption on wednesday the 7th, basically all my time and money have been tied into the kids and the case right now.

I have done nothing to the GP infact It needs alot of bodywork now since the wife has been using it daily.( got a 02 lesabre I use for communiting)

Well other then that I am back, I still work in the same place and have a 2nd job as a tropical fish breeder and supplier to a few local stores.

    Well, Hi again then.

Welcome back. You missed a few excitements, but nothing earth-shattering.

Yeah we got the real father good, found him hidding in hammond, needless to say he wont be in court.

as far as the cichlids go, what kind do you have now? that makes a HUGE matter as some are downright 100% solo fish and some are community.

Fire eels are great with cichlids even the most aggressive.

the only cichlids I have right now are marble barred angels. a true breeding pair. Once babies are ready they will be about 2 bucks a fish maybe 1.50 depending on coloration and size at 5weeks of age.

If you want some of the angels( south american cichlid) they will be ready by thanksgiving at the latest, they will all be fed frozen or live food( baby guppies make great baby predator food.)

I am getting ready to set up an african rift tank for some electric blues and some labidochromis unless I find a few oddities.

Pics? I love stuff like that. I used to have a friend whose rich ass parents would drop like 200 on some new exotic fish for their tank ever couple weeks, that tank was so much fun to stare at lol. Idr what it was called but for awhile they had something that looked like a comically oversized goldfish. And they had a pufferfish, many others.

i'll get pics later. i think my most expensive fish in the tank are my fontosa. i have one huge one and 3 little one. the 3 small one probably worth $25 each and the big one probably $75-$100. the rest of the fish are under $20. when you buy them small they are cheaper. i have mine when they were a baby. now they are pretty good size. these are tropical fish btw. your buddy probably have the salt water fish, those are more $$$$ plus it's it takes more work to maintain the tank too. i used to have boa constrictor before i got into fish. was kind of cool feeding them rat and sometime rabbit. i had 2 argentina boa over 6 feet long. when they got bigger their food got more expensive that's why i got into fish plus it's cool watching them swim around and chasing each other

minus the green terrors you have a community cichlid tank for the most part, fontosa is temepered like a RAM cichlid is from what I have observed.

I breed guppies to feed my angels and bigger fish, free food.

Angels are a semi aggressive fish they are still a SA cichlid and still have a temper. I got my big male angel picking the barbs apart.

I can get fontosa for 5 bucks a piece, fyi. I can get most species at 5 bucks or under.
