    Good morning everyone,

Own a 98 GTP and love it to death. Sadly had to let the beast sit a while and working on bringing it back to life. Having a few electrical issues and looking for some guidance on where to start troubleshooting. I may or may not have pinpointed it BUT a second opinion probably wouldn't hurt as I'm awful on electrical issues.

Short version: fuse relay bolt went MIA and the "ground" may be wiggling causing dash lights to kick on and cut power?

Long version: had to install new battery. the 13mm nut that holds the fuse relay "ground"? in place fell beneath my battery tray and i have no idea where it may have disappeared to. Would this be capable of causing the fuses to read faulty and trip up power/throw inaccurate lights? And if so, are there any special kinds of nuts I need to fasten it back with or will any 13mm do?

With any luck that should be my first and hopefully only roadblock to keeping it on the road again

    Thanks!

Not sure what you mean by "fuse relay nut", but if there is a loose ground anywhere then it can cause all kinds of weird things. Get it clean and tight and go from there.
