Greetings all. Long time Pontiac owner with another old poncho in the garage. Just picked up a 2002 40th GTP coupe. Been stored for a number of years, low miles but needing a refresher. I'm working on waking her back up. So far there's been plugs, wires, drain/flush/fill on the radiator, oil and filter, breaks, replaced the headlight housing and all the bulbs with LED, awaiting the new fog light housings have the amber LED ready for them. Hat to get an engine cover and the front licence plate cover from a pick n pull along with a new drivers mirror as mine was cracked. Driver's door panel got a little reworking too. But she's coming along. Today's add was I picked up a set of 18x8 Bonneville GXP wheels that need tires. I'll seek out a good picture posting site cause I ain't paying for Photobucket. I'll get some pics up.
List of the previous old Pontiacs
1968 GTO
1969 GTO
1969 Custom S
1972 GTO

Greetings. I am also old. Also had one of those and a handful of Pontiacs. The forum really isn't much about Grand Prixs anymore, especially older ones but there is a wealth of old info here and knowledgeable people who drive other stuff to guide us. Enjoy your stay and yeah, lets see what you got. I use blogger for pics, free and still allows full size.
All Grand Prix, all the time. 69 Model J, 99 GT & GTP coupes. All junk, haha.

Google photos works okay for pics, and it's free as long as you stay under a certain amount of storage space. Make a shared album, then you can click on the photo to open it and right click and copy the image location to use for the photo links.
My only complaint with google is that if you have the auto backup on your phone turned on, sometimes the sync re-uploads the same photo, which breaks the link previously used since it gives it a new link when it syncs. I haven't had an issue since I turned the automatic backups on my phone off tho.
Would love to see some pics!

Nice lineup. I have been a Pontiac owner since 2006 with my first GP GXP. Stepped up to a 2008 GXP 2 years ago. Just did the alternator, battery and belt. Changed the spark plugs but am looking for a good set of wires since they are still original. I added the factory navigation unit with an antenna, but I almost never play the radio since the LS4 sounds so good.
