i have a regular 2002 3.8 gt. i’ve decided its time for a new one as my body is falling apart and the frame is trash, so i found a 2002 gtp 40th anniversary in great condition with a bad motor. how hard would a swap be to put the supercharger on my regular 3.8?

depends on what went bad on the sc engine, if it chipped a piston the head is pooched, or a blown rod can hurt the head too. if it was over heated bad, could have cracked a head.

you need the heads, lim and blower and all the sc belt accessories, balancer idler tensioner. and new head bolts. or buy studs, bolts are way cheaper tho. while the engines apart and out of the car, clean it and re gasket everything. good time to paint it as well if you care to.
