Hey 06gpg8....
What about your G8?
What are your plans for your 06 Base?
I'm grafting the g8 hood vents into my base hood. I'm looking for more body mods and only a few performance mods. 1.5" drop, 18x9 saleens, SE lip, cat back exhaust, tint and a little sound.

This is my starting pallet.....
Photos dont work on my end.

It's probably best that the images don't work. The body on his BEAST is pretty rough. I didn't know an 04+ could rust that bad.
This is 06gpg8's car from his other post:
I think this poor car lived part of its life in the ocean.

They rust like that up here in Minnesota.
I wouldn't even invest a dime into body work with rust like that but it's not my car. You can't make rust look good on a grand prix lol.
Our roads get salted heavily here with that molasses salt mix that takes a while to wash off, but I haven't really seen much rust like that.
Putting money into it will be an investment. That car has sleeper potential.
I originally got it up in ny. All their cars are cancered out pretty bad. I moved to TN about a month ago. So yeah, it's got very little rust. Its not bad enough to write off yet.
Oh yeah well that explains it. My girlfriend brought her 2003 Jimmy here from upstate New York, there is not a panel on that thing that isn't rusted. Fuel filter plugged up on it and 4 of us tried to get that damn fuel line off, we even soaked it for a couple days in PB Blaster, eventually we ended up cutting the fuel line off and replacing the fuel line. I told her to get rid of it before she got tetanus.
Yeah well, people are apparently to quick to write off a car because a little minor surface rust, but it's my project. As Explicit_spade said it'll be an investment. The kicker of it though is to take my ugly a$$ beast and **** up all of the ney Sayers clean up.
Anyway, thanks for the "warm" welcome.
