Quick question, I have a 2002 pontiac grand prix gtp, currently 123k miles. I was reading about the fuel requirements for the vehicle, and read about a couple of post saying that it should be fine running midgrade since my car has a bit of mileage already? Also a gas station near me offers e15, could I use that in the grand prix? One last question, its getting pretty cold here in Wisconsin and many recommend to run 5w-30, or should I just stick with 10w-30? Anything bad can happen for using 5w-30 in warm weather?

I would stick with 91 or higher.
E15 would be better, and won't need a tune.
I would stick with 10w30. There isn't any reason to change.

Agreed, stick with 91+. Mileage doesn't mean anything when it's still a engine that runs boost.

Oil grade is up to you, you could run 0W20 if you really wanted too. I'd even suggest that if you lived in canada or even alaska because of the extreme colds they can see. I ran 5W30 in the winter for better starting protection on the thinner oil.

I lived in Alaska and had 2 GPs up there, a 2000 and a 2006.

The 2000 took 10w30 while the 2006 took 5w30 per owners manual specs. I didn't see a difference with either.

I also had a carbureted S10, and the carbs would freeze open on it at every stop light.

Ah alright, so E15 should be fine on my grand prix? No tune and completely bone stock, other than a cai? Also I read online E15 is only around 90 octane? Still fine to run?

Yes, E15 will be fine. As for Ethanol/Octane it depends on where you live as to what your ethanol blends will be. In Omaha, we have 91 octane E10 at pretty much every pump.
