so i royally f-ed up this time, so basically my key got stuck in the on position like it rotates barely enough to crank the car other then that nothing, tryed pressing the gold lock release and broke it, then broke the key off in the barrel, i have a remote start installed that doesnt work but it should have another key in it, can i just replace the barrel with a junk yard barrel that matches my key cut and it work? theres three cars with the same cut at the local junk yard so yeah can this work? if not can i by pass pk3 and just toss some toggle switches to start it? if someone wants to steal it they can take it lol but yeah its just a 2000 gt grand prix

If the remote start has a key in it, all you need to do is pull the positive wire from the bypass module off the remote start module and put it to the constant +12v from the battery, that bypasses the PK3 semi-permanently. Then you could set anything, including a push button start, and the car is still happy.
