My wife bought me a used 2003 GP gt while I was out of town. I like the car which has only minor issues. One is the hood stops are brittle. They sit on each corner at the front of the hood. They are corkscrew shaped with rubber heads on them. They are very hard to find ( for me anyway ). I just need to be pointed in the right direction for these...Thanks.

Thanks fordman, The junkyard units might be dried and brittle like mine...I'm guessing, I tried car-part with no luck. Ebay did not have my exact units. One seller had some for the firebird, but stated in body of text that they were not for the grand prix. Another seller had the same looking stops and said they would work...they were 9.00 so I bought..no great loss if they do not work. Thanks again for the quick reply

FYI, any stop from 1997-2003 should fit, as the body didn't change any in those years. Might help broaden your search if needed.

A junkyard will be fine. You just need to find one with low miles. If you want extra assurance, pay for one set, and throw like 2 more in your pocket. So you have 3 in case 1 of them don't work.
