Will an mini-AFC let me swap to 42.5 injectors without a tune?
People used to tune with the miniAFCs all the time lol
the 42lbers are almost exactly 30% bigger, so set the dip switches in the afc to scale your maf by 30% up or down, whichever way that works.
Wouldn't the car be running rough and rich because the PCM cannot calculate fuel correctly. Instead of using a AFC get spare pcm and have someone make the changes you need for the 42.5 injectors and LQ4 Maf.
Mini update.
I'm running 3.0 pulley with hybrid phenolic intercooler, gen 5, ported heads, front p-log, ported stock rear manifold and 1.9 yella Terra. (Stock exhaust and DP). Pretty sure I can jump to a 2.8 but it's winter.
I think I left out a fitting. You need 2 of these 1" barbed to 3/4" barbed. Anybody know where you can just get one not 10?

I wonder if there would be a noticeable increase in coolant flow if you swapped some of the coolant hoses from 3/4" to 1.25" instead of reducing the hoses down directly at the radiator inlet/outlet. obviously not all the hoses could be swapped because the intercooler core uses the 3/4" and the intercooler pump uses the 3/4".
