This is basic write up on the switchback bulbs I got from Diode Dynamics.
2005-2008 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP Front Turn Signal LEDs (pair)

DD does a great install video for installing them and I can't beat that. This is just a few pictures of and how i installed them. I have an 07 GP GXP.

The first thing I did was take off the front headlights and you can get at the front turn signals really easy from the top.
You first pull out the old amber bulb by quarter turning it and should pop right out.

Install the new bulb and make sure you put the blue seal on the socket if it didn't stay on the socket. Like this..

To wire in the resisters there will be a bunch of factory electrical tape that is wrapped around the wires that you will have to remove.
There will be 3 wires (at least for my car this is) BLUE - BLACK - BROWN

You will use the BLACK as your negative (as always) DD shows how to use the clips that they include with the set, they are really easy to use.

And you will use the BLUE as your positive wire

you slice them together and then i wrapped them in tape like crazy. you can kind of see how i taped them up. i used a wire to hold the resisters up. Gary at DD said the resisters don't get hot unless you leave the signal on for a long time. So im not too worried about them getting too hot.

This is what they look like at night, this was taken with my phone so they don't look real nice.

    Just with the switchbacks on.

    All lights on.

I love these lights and how they look. Everyone should do this to their turn signals. Hope this write-up wasn't too bad. (this is my first one)

Not forsure where brown goes. I can't remember which wire I tapped into for my fender well turn signals...but they work so who cares. But after looking at his last picture above he could really use a fog and low beam upgrade

hmmm...that would be interesting but i dunno how the output would be then as im pretty sure the current fogs are designed to project low on the ground or something

Gotcha. Well eventually I'll upgrade the h11 bulbs to HID 6000k like my low beams and see how the out put looks. I'm pretty siked about all the work I've been doing on it

not a problem. really don't care. the brown wire went into the turn signal also. but it could of came from the fog too. idk. i didn't look. but the fog and turn were all connected.
You can see in this pic that there is 2 wires that break off. one went to the fogs i believe and the other went to the main power.

The included splice things suck for the long term, corrosion and eventually a bad connection/short. I don't do any exterior wiring on cars unless I solder the connections.
