Wow, did this guy join the forum just to bash these 2?
He's got a whole 6 posts, I'm afraid to see what the other 3 are...
I also believe they had to make a mod to the part to make it work on our cars?
If so, factor that into the $15!
    Oh, and BTW...
    PROFIT Isn't A Dirty Word!
    You said it right here!

So this makes what you did justifiable? Others are scamming so why not?
I'm sure if he was ever asked for the part # he gave it ...
Im sorry, I just dont buy your lame excuses. I have read lots of write ups where the poster will include the part number to help others out. ie f-body brake install. I think your as shady as they come.
You're lucky, if you think he's "as shady as they come" selling a $5 part modified, packed & shipped for $15!
$4 part, $4 packing, $4 shipping, WOW Maybe he made $1/peace? What a jackass... OMG
You've lead a sheltered life my friend, you are going to find real "shady" people in this world & realize how petty your posts here really are.

GM dealers "close" to me are all 15 miles away. That means at least TWO trips for me because the dealer doesn't stock them. 60 miles total drive time, so lets say 20/gal because this isn't a highway to highway drive for me. So at $3.50 a part, another $6 for the gas, I'm now up to $9.50. And guess what? that's also another hour of my time to deal with said drive. Or I could send $15 to someone via Paypal, and get it mailed to my house. That extra $6 was WELL worth the time I saved in driving and dealer interaction.

This coming from a guy that needed "help" to install the peice of plastic. LOL. Why are they no longer being sold? Im sure Me posting and telling everyone it is a GM part had nothing to do with it. Oh wait, as soon as I posted that, they both post long winded excuses and told everyone they were no longer doing them this GREAT service. Come on.

Okay, you win. What a great samaritan you are. As you can clearly see in my first post last night I said your post appeared AFTER I finished up the post I made. Then I took the time to reply to you. Personally, I don't care what you think. Don't flatter yourself, you had very little to do with us stopping selling them. Ask SyntheticShield, I told him many many times that we didn't want to deal with them anymore. Oh yeah, and we BOTH made long winded posts? Who is both? And the part number had previously been posted in here before. Your not the first to point it out. People still wanted us to ship them to them. The point was convenience and your missing it. As for your question about why I would do it if there was no profit, your missing the point of the GPF community as well.

No, the cowl is sealed on the driver's side, and the water drains to the passenger. If you have a leak over there, then something else isn't right.

Why cant people just leave a good thing alone? I mean not one person had a problem with paying the amount asked for the part. Then this goofball comes in and decided to try and make a big a$$ deal out a part number and how much he can go get it from a local dealer. I mean really? Some peoples kids..........

I bought one despite the shipping charges to the UK, as my my local dealer isn't as local as I'd like!

Fitted easy in 10 minutes or so, and leaks have stopped. Saved me a bundle now I don't have to replace the carpet, etc. I thought the idea behind these enthusiasts forums was to help each other out, or am I completely missing the point???????

If Abrasive and Reptile can supply a part that solves a long-running problem, that's good for the rest of us isn't it?
