Hey whats going on guys! New to the forum and found this thread through google.
I've just recently started having this problem and need to get it fixed ASAP.
Abrasive>> is this a part that you have or make? If so I would like to get with you and get it from you! This will be a big help! Let me know
FWIW, I've got some in stock also....and if I recieve payment, they can ship out immediately in case Abrasive doesn't have any right now.
We both try to keep these on hand, but they go very quickly allllll week long. LOL
Am I still on the list for one of those 7, or do I need to go through Reptile?
Reptile>> email me at jamorgan530@comcast.net I would love to get the part from you! Thanks in advance!!
Got the part yesterday, installed today and works like a charm. Very easy install and very high quality for the price and headaches its solved. Would definitely recommend this to anyone with a GP. Thanks again!
I'd like to order one as well. Too cold out here in Minnesota to replace it just yet but I'd like to get one ready for the first thaw. So I'm not in a big hurry. Can you send me the instructions to order one by check ?
I appreciate it. Thanks in advance!
Reptile, just sent you an email.
i will take one if they ever figured out the bulging deal on the 04+ GP...email me at williamsmatt10@yahoo.com if needed
The part does not make it bulge. The cowls warp and do it on their own over time. Somewhere in here I posted a picture of one that is warped badly and does not even have the new part installed. The reason is because GM did away with the large retaining plug on the passenger side and redesigned the cowl with a finger on the bottom that hooks under the windshield edge.
Here's the pic......
See where the cowl dips back down in the center? That is the exact spot of the finger I am talking about. I think it holds it too tight. This water deflector does not come in contact with the cowl what so ever.
okay good deal... i want to get one before i have this problem... whose paypal do i need... abrasive or reptiles... i will send money as soon as you get another shipment...
I have a 2004 Grand Prix and I'm having a problem with windshield wiper fluid getting in/on the 'in cabin air filter'. I never noticed a problem of water getting in there before or getting into the passenger side of my car, but when I spray my windshield wiper fluid it really smells on the inside of the car. I took it to the dealership to get it looked at and they replaced the rubber seal but that was all the did. It Still Smells!! This new water deflector sounds GREAT and looks like it would be a fix to my problem. Also, EXCELLENT Job on the write up, instructions, and detailed photo's. Is there a GM part # for this as the dealer will put it on my car for free if there is one. Otherwise, How can I get one from you guys? Do you have them in stock? How long does shipping usually take?

Was it confirmed that this does fit a 2004 Grand Prix GT2?
I have a single unit cowl, and if needed I will take pictures of the entire process and post them.
Thanks for all your Help!!
