well for me the old weights came off before i sandblasted.

Should, but there is paint that will repell brake dust.

Definately love the rims white like that. I used brake caliper paint on my five stars and I really need to sand them and paint them again. Shouldnt have jimmy rigged it to begin with lol. Oh and where did u get those special edition center caps? I really like those!

Great write up and pictures. I know it's been a while, but did you make this all up in a Word document and then just paste it into the thread?
I am planning on submitting a "How To" on painting the entire rims with the tires on and using rattle cans only (a true DIY for the man who has nothing). I'm currently doing the Factory Stock Alloy Rims for my 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix GT and taking pictures as I go (should take me about a month-no rush as winter rims currently being well used up here in Canada). Finally I noticed that you taped off the lug nut seats (good idea). I would assume you would need to do the same on the lug nut races on the inner rims? Any tips on the submission would be appreciated.

Thanks man, sorry for the late reply but I just typed this all up on the forum, I didn't use word or anything else. As for your question about the lug nut races Im not really sure what your referring too. Are you talking about painting the back of the rims as well? Because if so it would be a good idea to tape out the back of the rim where the rim seats on the rotor, if thats what your asking.
