Appreciate it. But if I'm not mistaken, were in the writeup do this haha. What was nice about my install is that it wasn't invasive at all. Didn't drill any holes or do anything that couldn't be undone. Most of the work was in preparation of the bar to fit our GP's. The only issue is because of how our GP's are wired, I don't know if I can have running light functionality. Only brake, turn and reverse, but still I am very satisfied.
im looking to do this same mod i have 2 12" strips and i want to wire them up so when i hit my bakes they come on and when i use my turn signal they come on but i dont want them to stay on when im not hitting the brake or turn signal can anyone help me
You can do exactly what you want, it will be very very simple. Our Gp's brake lights are duel filament bulbs. One of the filaments is the turn signal and the break lights, the second filament is the night time running lights. All you have to do is splice the positive wire for each of your strips to there respective sides turn signal filament wire, I forget the colors but I can look tomorrow. Then splice both the grounds to the common ground all the tail lamps share. Thats all there is to it!
I'd like to see this one a 04+ as it looks super clean on all the cars I've seen so far. I would like that fire/ice set up, but would like for mine to be on while the headlights are on, plus reverse, turn signal ect.

I love my fire and ice setup although now I have to replace the reverse lights with LED's so the whites are the same. Anyway, I really wanted to have the nighttime running lights as well, but I quickly found out this wasnt possible due to the setup of the rear lights and which bulb performs which function. If I come up with a solution, I will gladly share but right now, I got nothing.
they all look good.
can someone please tell me where i can buy some of them led lights
nice write up
Were not hanging balls from the tow hitch, its a subtle design to mimic that of a higher end car, not a race car or a riced car. When was the last time you saw a GP that was raised two feet? just trying to add a little flare from an otherwise fairly plain car, not go mock-two and look like a tool doing it.
looks good nice to see somthing diffrent
