Awesome write up for a noob to ingest!!! I have this swap planned and was wondering if there is any benefit to having a whole car for the swap? I scored an GT with 137000km on it and drove it to my storage. It lost an argument with a deer!! I now have a Gen V blower and a lot of other parts for my 2001 GTP! I will be asking a lot of questions down the road as I do this swap. Thanks and keep the write ups coming!!!!
Did anyone mention yet if a gen3 full size intercooler core will still work with a gen5 blower?
Buddy of mine found a gen5 , I couldn't give a solid answer ; I've only ever machined a lower manifold to make it fit but used the correct core
nice thread, im still procrastinating on doing my intercooler setup
how do i stick this?
I'm curious as to why it says here that you can only utilize the Gen V's evap sensor if you use an l67 TB, why could I not use the Gen V evap with a N* TB? Has anyone here done this?
Can't you flip the tb though? Or will it still hit?
I had a bonne and didn't need to flip. Plus I had the older Evap..so I didn't try to flip. Likely you can.

Take a look at this thread. I have the F1 hood from Stinger Fiberglass, bought it last year at the Charlotte Auto Fair. But I decided to wait until after I both lowered my car and got my intercooler on before checking out the hood. I think that the issue will be where they have made the "Ram Air" duct in the hood that can be opened up at the air box. My hood needs body work where the upper and lower pieces where put together anyway, so I figured that if it needed to be notched and re-glassed that it would be cheapest and easiest to do all at once.
let's bring this back, is there an easy way to know if the gen 3 blower is maxxed out? my car feels faster with the 2.8 pulley than it does with the 2.6.
