I think it looks good. Though I agree, I would make a better connection ont hem than what you used on the first page. Those do suck, but they are good for "testing", but I would never use them as a permanent connection.

i've got red halos around my fogs love the look, cops don't seem to as much tho but. ive been thinkn of putn these strips above my headlights instead of below them. i just don't want them to disappear when my headlights go on
That us also what I am interested in knowing. I am wondering what the different between both top and bottom LED's look like as well as both with the lights on and off? Hmm, if you make this happen please take some pics. I just bought some LED's so ill let you know if I get to it first and post some pics.
actually got my idea from poking around on cardomain, found this GP and love the idea. except he doesnt have any pictures of the strips on with the headlights on :-/That us also what I am interested in knowing. Its so hard to tell from those pictures. I think I like them but first off, he has projectors so IDK how they would look without them and second, Idk if I like how far his strips go around the headlights, seems like they just end, maybe a bit longer? What are your thoughts?
i really kind of like them, they kinda look like mean or angry eyebows... all i know is that i def. want them im just unsure how to set it up and make it work as i want it toIts so hard to tell from those pictures. why thanks you kind sirThose look ****ing sick mangg.
and i know right, im kinda thinkn tho, that if its the same as my fogs, that the halos disappear when the fogs are on then im thinkn of makn them redthat looks awesome
if i keep my fogs on it completely hides the halos
Okay seriously - I was thinking about buying an Audi, but I then I realized I was mainly jealous of the lights - I am going to have to do this mod - that is seriously cool!
Just in case anybody wants to do this without cutting wires, I'd suggest making a Y-cable to go between the feed and the fog lamp / LEDs.
To do both sides, I believe you'll need 4 Male connectors (Delphi 12059450) and 4 Female connectors (Delphi 12124819). They're fairly inexpensive. I think it's something like $10 before shipping.
I can't remember which direction it goes, but if I remember correctly, one of the female connectors gets connected to your LED's. The other female is one end of the Y with the two male connectors on the other end.
If you do it this way, your mod is totally reversible with no permanent damage to the wiring harness of the car. Worked for me anyway.
If anyone is interested in hooking the LEDs up to the daytime driving lights, it's a bit more complicated because the orange bulbs have 3 wires going to them. You can do the same Y-connector trick, but you'll want to connect only to the brown and black wires for the daytime running lights. I think the other wire is Blue/White, but I could be wrong. In any case, you want to ignore that wire since it powers those same bulbs as blinkers which you don't want to use for your LEDs.
The problem with this is that the connectors used for those lights are not Delphi components, but rather USCar connectors which are not as easily found. I can't remember the number for the male connector side, but the Female side is the 3-way Female OSRAM Sylvania USCAR (side latch) 7900-1493-000.
Oh yeah, it's worth noting that the above notes are for an '04 or newer. Not sure if the connectors are the same for years before that. I'll post some pics of mine as well as the Y connector I made at some point here...
