Holy Moo Moo, that is awesome right there. How much did it cost for the seats?
Thats just a beautiful How To. Very well documented with pictures and text. Excellent, excellent work. Just WOW.
Thanks, I like it alot. I waited too long and missed out on two sets of GXP seats from Ed Morad for cheaper. I ended up paying $377 for the complete front and rear set with less than 5500 miles on the car in perfect condition. Shipping is what gets you on stuff like this though, so look local first and save money. More than I wanted, but tired of waiting as I wanted to do this 2 years ago. Love the mod. Much more supportive and comfortable.
Was the $377 including shipping? If so, thats still not horrible and if you could get it cheaper than that, I may be all over this as soon as I can.
Okay, cool. Now for my next question for ya and I think I'll be done. Would you have any objection to this being made into a document that can be down loaded and a copy of this posted in our How To section?
Not at all. Feel free to edit it as needed, omit some of the pics if you want, etc. I have no objections to sharing any info I have on this site unless otherwise specified, which I don't see happening. Thanks for asking. Let me know if you need any pics or info on anything else as the car is just sitting in the garage til spring.
ME LIKEY!!!
I really want to do this now.
Has anyone else noticed that some of the drivers seats have an uncomfortable spot near the base of the back? I have to shift positions numerous times while driving, and am wondering if anyone else has this problem...
Wow - great work and even better outcome, Jason! That is sick - and something I will definitely be doing in my next GP project. Thanks for documenting this so well!

So how's the back seat leg room? I'm 6'3 and I can fit into a regular coupe's backseat, but what about with the gxp seats?
Did you notice any difference?
also, are the GXP seats taller on the bottom of the GTP seats? if you set them side by side?
I like the way they look, but I like the seat really low.....
Wow you did an awsome job. They loook great in ur car. Your car looks awsome too. So wat r u gonna do with ur old seats ? they look to be in reallly good condition.
Don't sit behind the driver. Yes rear legroom is diminished. I never noticed until I read your post and just went out and sat in it. I'm 6' and have long legs. I couldn't get behind my seat, but had no problem behind the passenger seat where my wife has it set.
All of the seats front and rear are thicker on the GXPs than the GTP. I always position my seat as low as possible as well and I'd guess I'm an inch or two higher than I was with the GTP seats, but way more comfortable and supported. If I get a weekend to play, I will be removing them to see if I could modify it slightly to drop it a bit. I'll let you know if/when I get to it (busy and cold in the garage). I'd say I probably have about a fist between my head and the liner.also, are the GXP seats taller on the bottom of the GTP seats? if you set them side by side?

The GTP seats are just taking up space in my garage. I haven't gotten around to posting any of my for sale parts on here as of yet. I will adding the seatbelt guides to my GXP seats from the GTP seats as well. I found the seat belt is inconvenient to reach, I had forgotten since I added the guides to all my other GTPs.Wow you did an awsome job. They loook great in ur car. Your car looks awsome too. can anyone elaborate a little more on how to hook the wiring up a little better, I'm having trouble trying to figure out how to connect everything,
Am i going to be splicing and making my own connections or ....??? pictures would be excellent if possible
thanks all
hey guys, just want to say nevermind, and thanks. I got the seats in the car and all done and wired. Everyone loves them, they are killer and soooo comfortable. I'll try and get pictures up tomorrow sometime. later
Post up some pics if you can. If you figured out the wiring, can you elaborate on it some?
