I'm going to buy a 2000 gtp with 140000 on it for $1800 but my question is the guy says it needs a new blower motor is there any way to test this and if it is bad how do I change it? thanks ahead of time

Pull the kick panel down on the passenger side below the glove box. The blower motor is right under there with a plug in that you can see. Just apply power and ground to the blower motor to test it, if nothing happens it's dead.
3 screws hold it in and it's not hard to replace and costs only 40-60 bucks.
Why do you think it needs a new blower motor? Does it not run on any setting, or does it only work on "5" or high? If it works on 5 or a few other speeds but not all it is most likely the blower motor resistor, not the motor itself. Also, easy to overlook is a blown fuse so maybe check those too.
If the blower motor is indeed bad, check and make sure the cowl is not leaking water and into the blower motor. Is the passenger side carpet wet, or look like it had been wet?
I haven't gotten a chance to look at it yet but for 1800 I can't really go wrong can I?
Sometimes the plug connection goes bad. I cut the plug out of mine and direct wired it and it worked fine.
