I have a 03 GT. 208k miles. My car did overheat at 203k. I have sense had a coolant flush done. My coolant looked like a chocolate shake. drives fine everyday sense then. Sometimes it does still get a little hot but never above 210 on my temp gauge. (I have a 180t Stat installed) but my heat does not blow out hot air. I'll turn it on blows out hot for maybe 2 seconds then goes to cold. I believe I just need a heater core flush because it did start blowing cold air out right before my car did overheat. Whenever I select hot or cold on my climate sliders I can hear the actuator or whatever is switching for hot air to cold air but it still blows out cold

car all warmed up touch both heater core hoses, if one is hot and one is cold, or both are cold, flush the core.

if both hoses are hot as hell, its a blend door actuator.

perfect, and 210 is not over heating, thats your normal temps, even with a 180 t stat you will get that warm in traffic and at a dead stop idling. even if your fans are tuned for the 180.

Okay so one hose was hotter then the other. But the other one wasn't really cold either. But I could feel a difference in temp while touching them. My heat does seem to come out a tad bit warmer when the fan is on settings 1 or 2. But when it's all the way up to 5 it's cold. But then again doesn't higher fan speed generally decrease you're temp just a bit

id flush the core, its free and cant hurt.

after thats done you can roll up the garden hose for the winter storage. lol

how i flush it is take both hoses off the alt bracket, garden hose to either hose and flush it till clear water comes, out, then do the same to the other hose. hose water should come out as fast as it goes in. no need for high pressure tho.

hold both hoses up so they are full of water and get them back on trying not to loose any water. you'll loose some and its ok, but try not to put a dry hose back on.
