So this morning I got in the car and I turned the key on to let Tapp connect like I always do and about 10 seconds later it popped up and said "Battery Saver Mode Entered" on the DIC then it said "Check Security System" so thinking that the battery might be low I kit the start position and it started back up and gave the check security system again and I turned it off. I drove to work and when I shut the car off the check security came on again.

Now in the past I have had the security come on the DIC and I reset it and it goes away for a few weeks. This started when I put in an 04' PCM into my 05' GTP. Now I did the relearn and haven't had the problem with it starting at all. Before I changed PCM's I had the same thing happen when the battery was dead. Now in searching I found this:

I am going to test the battery when I get home and check the connections but the security issue, I am not sure what's going on there. It seems to come and go.

the t app shows voltage. then theres the good old load test at a parts store for the battery.

I can only read the voltage at the OBD connector, but have it turned off right now because I'm logging some other functions, it's always a volt low. I have a tester at home that will measure CCA and milli ohms so When I get home I'll check it after it rests a while.

Still puzzled about the Theft message though it's come on before and I get it to go off then comes back on a few weeks later.

Battery checked out at 12.67V, 688 CCA and 3.21 milli ohms. So it's good. I do need to redo the original connections. The check security went away this afternoon.
