How much would a muffler delete cost? This is just going to be a temporary thing and something fun to try. How much would it cost to have the mufflers chopped off and put some straight pipe in?

Dude, no offense but why are you always trying to delete pointless stuff from your exhaust? You want something that sounds like a rice burner? Get a civic.

It would cost as much as the straight pipe and a couple clamps, I imagine. But it costs nothing to just delete your entire exhaust. I say take it all off, just stay out of Ohio

Yes seriously don't do away with the mufflers for Pete's sake. My car came with 2-1/2" 2 chamber flomasters and it's driving me crazy. When I redo it I'm going with 3" single exhaust with whatever resonator I figure out works best and a 3 chamber flomaster.

You're 16 and you think loud = good, and let us all tell you from experience that that is not necessarily true. Loud gets old fast.

The best sounding 3800 is a quiet 3800

You need to call around and get some quotes.. Every shop and every area is different. Nobodies going to be able to tell you for sure what it's going to cost.

go buy new mufflers, then stop by a few shops and ask what they charge, then go with your gut.
