I guess one of these days I'll get around to installing a HID kit. As for me, though, and which one I would get. Well I would prefer to maintain as much OEM functionality as possible and the true dual beam kit seems to do just that.

ehh, they prolly dont work because they are cheaper kits, their connetcors are bad, and/or aren't getting the turn on voltage they need. When I get around to it, because I have like 4 other write ups to do, I will post up on how to get more voltage at turn on, and how to avoid them flashing with unlock and lock. so, add one my write-up to my to-do list, haha. Oh well I enjoy it.

I have the WBS HID kits...for the main beams, and foglamps on the GTP. THEY ARE BRIGHT!!!!!

no need for high beams anymore. the only problem I have noticed is that the fuse that comes witht he kits are to small, and just needed uped a bit to handle all the power.

I don't think they make those anymore do they, or they use cheaper kits now? Those are seriously good kits, A member of my local group has them on his car and they are awesome.

You guys should go read my (un) official HID thread on the "other" site... Twin tube and retracting HID units will NEVER work correctly in our reflector housings. Either lose the high mode and get the static kit, or find a properly designed tilting kit...

I would really be interested in a good tilting kit because PA requires high beams. So I don't want to lose them just for that.

But why won't the dual filament ones work?

The dual arc kit won't work because the high beam arc is WAY out of place and NOT adjustable. The 9007 tungsten filaments are very close together and the housings are specifically designed for the 9007 filament placement. Anything out of the correct focal point results in useless light. JCPrix and I have both spent a LOT of time researching the issues. He's going to try a telescopic to tilting conversion on his bulbs.

not sure, I have them checking the system out on grand prix's for me (sent them some links to the write ups so they could see the issues, and they seem to be responding)

The PROPER tilting kit should tilt the arcs DOWN about .050" and OVER towards the passenger side by about .050" as well. The arc in the LOW position should be centered radially with the base at a distance of 1.75" from the top of the mounting flange.
