Ok I will make sure to add sealant to the bolts before putting them back in. Thanks!
its normal condensation/accumulation over time from the pcv system.
pull it apart at 10k and youll see the puddle, it just wont be as full or dirty as a 75k+ lim
never sandblast it, the carbon should be soaked in cheap old kerosene and scrubbed.
too much chance for sand to get stuck inside a pcv passage and kerosene is like 4$ a gallon and a rubbermaid tote is like 10$ steal yer old lady's toothbrush, and an old water bottle with a few pinholes in the side for rinsing under pressure/stream.
100 pack of razor blades and change em often as they get nicked
Agreed.. it's totally normal for oil to be there. And .. also agreed, cleaning it too much is a waste of time.
Thanks everyone this forum has been extremely helpful. I can't wait to have this car back up and running.
Soooo are you putting a new upper on it and switching out that big stovepipe? If not.. you should block the coolant ports to bulletproof it.
Search on my name, "ea sy" without spaces and look for modding a lim.
