Gotcha, I think I'll do that. Will I lose any performance or is it just an annoying click at this point.

Holy **** what a thread...agreed with Scotty bro. Sounds like an axle. Axles are cake. And you can rent a slide her from autozone with a clip on the back. Just give it a quick walk and the axles comes right out....

MAKE SURE ON RE INSTALL THAT YOUR AXLES DOSENT COME BACK OUT BY HAND!!

They make a flat piece that doesn't like to go behind the driverside axle based on nubs on the trans side cover. That hooks to a slide hammer and .... you know what.. go buy Gearwrench 82248. If it takes you longer than 15 seconds after you set the angle on it.. I'd be very surprised
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

It's $170. I researched the autzone tool which I can rent. If you're convinced it won't work I'll go buy this thing.

you dont need it. but it makes life easy. and you got time still. like i said, let that thing go bad before you toss money at it.

search amazon, and e bay for it, buy used if you can. its a bad ass tool for sure.

I'm going to try the autozone puller. I have new CV's coming in today at Autozone, mine were lifetime warranty. I just have to exchange the old ones. We'll see if it solves the problem.

it didn't go back on cause you got fed up with the fight getting the shaft back on the rack you mean?

it should be there it keeps the shaft from drying out if its greased.
