Thread: Alternator Rewire Fuse?

Anyone with the Alternator Rewire running some kind of an inline fuse?

Yep, good idea to incase the alternator starts overcharging. I'm running 4ga with a 125amp fuse

It's a good idea if your wiring can't handle overcharging, just make sure you seal whatever fuse holder you use to prevent corrosion. I would use some liquid electrical tape.

I don't personally use one, but I used welding wire rated to 300 amps to handle a HO alternator.
