Hello all, I would like to know who makes the best and hopefully the easiest to install remote starters for our Grand Prixs ? Mine is a 2005 GTP with about every option except remote start! Also would like to know if changing ECM if my car could be programmed to use a factory remote start key fob?

There was a company that made one that would interface from the factory remote. Not sure who.. but maybe a search will get you some info.

I like to use the 2 way systems. I buy the cheap refurbished viper responder one units off ebay. We prefer a 1 button remote and don't mind having that and the cars key fob on the keychain. We aren't crazy about all those lcd screens with buttons everywhere.

Now a days Viper has quite a few cheap 2 ways system that don't have the big bulky lcd style fob. One of the reasons I never went w/ a aftermarket remote I didn't want to carry around a bulky lcd screen.

^ Pretty sure that's going to require some type of bcm programming which I imagine won't be cheap. Aftermarket is the better and cheaper route in this case.
