I've been messing around for 800 miles trying to get my EVAP tests to be complete so I can pass inspection.. I've heard things like the EVAP tests run when you have between 1/4 tank to 3/4 tank but how do you get them to run?

There's not much info out there about this but does anyone know the trick?

from what ive seen on line, and what happens in my car is the evap does its self test as the gas tank drops past the 1/2 mark. then my light comes on every damn time.

im going to just delete mine and have the code tuned out.

My evap system still works for whatever reason. I have never gotten a code for it and i was too lazy to cap off the lines so I just left it in place. I even still have it hooked up to vacuum. I figure it keeps my gas tank free of oxygen AND lets me burn the vapors that would be lost otherwise so why not? Adeckers turbo prix still has it as well. Still works with no codes.
