So I recently picked up this kit from Intense because I think I have false knock and I was planning on replacing my knock sensor's anyway so I thought I would give it a try. Anyway, I was just wondering where the bigger piece goes on the trans? I don't have to remove the trans do I?

you can kinda get in there. take pass side front wheel off have some one push it up in place brom the bottom, then rub it down from the side.

you may need some sticks to press it in fully. paint stir stick something like that.

oh, and clean the living crap out of it the day before if you've had oil leaks, trannys get real nasty right in the spot bill posted.

when i de grease my engine i always turn the wheels left then from the wheel well spray the tranny down, front and back as much as you can. if you have ramps spray it from underneath too.

You are correct...it's not worth anything to apply that there. The trans is bolted to the engine all around that spot. If there's noise getting through the casing..there's noise transmitting through the bracketry

Well I got my front knock sensor installed but I have no idea how ppl can get to the rear one without removing the trans. It's such a tight fit! How is it possible!?
