Thanks. I'm still chasing the misfire problem.....I'm looking at the coil packs next. Still need to clean up the connections to see if that helps.

I wonder why it only misfires when it's idling?

    Can vacuum leaks cause misfire?

When you give it throttle, you have less vacuum which is less leak.

let it idle, spray carb cleaner at all the vac lines and sensors, if the idle jumps up, you found a leak area.

Ok. Thanks. I'll try that. The car runs perfectly with no misses until it warms up, so, maybe a vac leak is the problem.

spray the injectors too, the TB as well, around its gasket area and vac lines.

may want to pick up a used icm, never know, they do go bad.

Was the vacuum steady or was it bouncy? I've dealt with this before...and I have pictures of the problem I found...and they aren't pretty.

Seized roller on a lifter that wiped out the cam...sent metal all through the engine...we hoped we got it all flushed but ended up having to replace the engine shortly thereafter.
