Having to go into my door so many times I broke the clip at the top of door switch plate - I wanted to try to repair mine, especially since they're more pricey for a couple. I also had a bunch of door panel clicks to replace the ones I wore out going into the door and they appear to be a perfect repair piece.

And finally here it is in place (no glue yet)...
I glued it in with a bunch of "plastic weld" glue which is actually supposed to melt it a bit, will check tube in a bit. Fits like it was made for it, just the right overhang as the original clip, and the back is braced against the mirror joystick to support when putting it in the car. Been holding for a few weeks, see how it fairs when I pull it out again in the spring to replace the window regulator...
