Im getting a message on the DIC that says "check gas cap" Ive had this problem for a while. I've used a scanner and i believe the code was "p0445". Anyway with my searches on the web (and 2 dealer visits) ive replaced the gas cap, the evap canister solenoid valve, and the fuel tank pressure sensor on top of the gas tank. The check gas cap message comes up after about 5 mins after i reset the codes (unhook negative battery cable) and the check engine light will come on a couple days later. What else am i missing? Is there a way i can bypass the system (with resistors or ???) Or how can i test each part of the system to determine the part at fault? Any help Appreciated.

http://engine-codes.com/p0445.html try changing the evap sensor on the back of the engine. its the one with a vac line on each side of the sensor.
