I have 2004 GTP Comp G... both my power outlets have no power. I thought it was the relay on the passenger side interior fuse panel, so I changed it... Didn't fix it. Manual isnt clear on which fuse these are on.... Anyone know ? Thanks..

Haha. I too have an 04 CompG with cigarette lighters that don't work. I've looked at the wiring diagram and I've pulled the whole center console and checked for power right at the plug into each socket. Something happens to them and they stop working. Only fix is replace the accessory/cigarette lighters themselves with new or go to a junkyard. I haven't been able to figure out why it happened.

Just check all the fuses underhood and passenger side to be sure none are blown but in my case they just stopped working one day and I haven't bothered to replace them yet mainly because I don't use them (don't smoke and my double din charges my phone)

before buying a new one, not that they cost a lot, (10 bucks or less) get some 120 grit sand paper and sand the inside of the power port. and the bottom nipple. thats the power part, the outer insides are the ground.

sanding them cleans up any rust that may be in there keeping it from making good contact.

you can also use a test light in the power port and check for power.

Also test for power on the backside. Then check fuses etc.

Make sure the connector is plugged in. When i got mine, both lighter and TC button wouldn't work until I found the connector (passenger side, near the top) was unplugged for some reason. Plugged it back together, it's fine.

If it's plugged in, the socket is probably shot. The lighter socket seems to die easily for some reason.

Does anyone know which fuse these accessory plugs actually go to ?
The owners manual does not show which one.
Also, do I have to take the console apart to get at them or do they pull out of where they are mounted ?
    Thanks..........

in my regal i had to take the console out to remove them, id think the GP is about the same.

the fuse box door should have a map on it of the fuses.

Everybody has lighter problem and i also. Why? they should think about the standard because we all want our product will be more effective in our current generation. So authority should think about it.

The fuse is under the hood and it is not on the diagram at all. It is the 25 amp fuse in row 8. 2004 GP GTP comp g.
