Scan tool will not communicate with my vehicle it does nothing. it won't pull up codes it won't even turn on. It has no idea its been plugged in. I blew the connectors out and cleaned them with a q-tip. I think its pin 16 that i need to test for power but I cant remember. I didn't want to be poking around start tearing into the wiring until i was sure.

Alright well i'll check and see if the cig lighter works. Are there any other common causes of the OBD port not working? And does anyone know that pin is supposed to have power to it?
