About an hour ago I decided to plug my obd2 bluetooth adapter into my 00 gtp in while I was on the highway to look at some things with the Torque app for android. Ive used this adapter multiple times with no problems but when I plugged it in this time the security light came on on the dash. It doesnt blink it just stays on. The car starts up and drives fine, the light is just on and I cant figure out why. I dont have the chip in the key but I do have pk3 M on the key. Should I just disconnect my battery to see if it goes away?

Well I may have just fixed it somehow, I locked and unlocked the car with my keyless module(which I dont used cause the buttons dont work %99 of the time) and then started the car and the light went off.

You have a chipkey. Every grand prix 97+ has chipkeys. pk3 stands for passkey 3.
