So my dad bought a 98 GTP 2 door coupe and the passenger side blows hot air and driver cold(it has dual climate control) can you help me identify the following plugs...

(this Pic you could see the vacuum line , I have not found out where it plugs inside or where it leads outside the car, under the hood there is no vacuum line going around the passenger side and the vacuum port on the supercharger is not plugged in ( I capped it)

Any Help will be appreciated thanks!

this is how you change the blen doors. they are what controls the hot and cold air flow. http://www.grandprixforums.net/blend...ent-21941.html the round parts you see in the pics there are the vac pumps that work the air flow, from that line in your cab.

that vac line should be connected to a box under the dash in front of the console, it powers the vac pumps that control the air flow direction, def, vent floor.

that line off the top of the sc, in this pic you see it lead to the fire wall, it then goes down the fender and under the fuse box area, from there it may or may not have a T, one side would go into the wire harness and into the cab, (the vac line you have posted is this line.)

i dont have a clue where all them plugs belong.

well aint he a nice guy lol looks like a mess under there. hope you get it all back where it belongs.

if the pass side is hot all the time and the d/s will turn hot and cold, the pass side actuator is bad. and the easy one to change.

in the meantime you can take it off, turn the little knob to cold. that way you got cold air on both sides till you get a replacement for it.

Ok will do that, I already did the whole lim gasket replacement and power steering pump replacement on his car. Cant wait to get it done so I could have an extra car to drive around (till he picks it up, since he lives out of town) . I have to do the whole Gen V and XP cam swap on my 97
