Well. I went ahead and installed some el-cheapo ebay headers this weekend. Going to make it legal and keep a cat on. Which ones are you running and not tripping the o2 into check engine mode. I don;t want to disable my rear o2 senors at this point.

Spark plug fouler...google it.
Or I think a bunch of guys run Magnaflow cars but some still get the code
thinking any 49 state legal version
MagnaFlow Catalytic Converters - 49-STATE & CANADA Catalytic Converters For Trucks, Suv's, American Muscle, Diesel, & Sport Compact Vehicles
as opposed to what I want
415300 3" FLOWMONSTER Metallic High Flow Catalytic Converter I am sure one of these spun hi flow's are gonna trip a light
Wow. Never heard of these. These look like the perfect solution. If I just barely move it using the shortest one. My computer should still work as intended. My local auto store has them. Looking like I know my weekend project. Thank you
I am ordering up the shortest barely legal cat sold now.
Don't be surprised if it still sets a code. Most universal seems to do that especially if they're high flow. You can either tune it or or once again use the spark plug fouler trick and be done with it.
My ZZP downpipe has a Magnaflow cat in it, IIRC. It also has a defouler built in and about 2 years after install I am still CEL free,
I ran a Magnaflow high flow I ordered several years ago when ZZP I think sold them. They don't now, but it never triggered a code in my GT.
I second the spark plug non fouler trick.
Not a gp but same concept applies DIY O2 Sensor Bypass / Spark Plug Non-Fouler Trick Installation (w/ pics) - Honda Civic Forum
