Well I just seafoamed the vac line on my 2006 gt and it seemed to have worked pretty well.. I pulled off the brake booster line put a funnel in and poured in about 8 ounces of it over about a 10 second span or so which I guess was a little quick as I see some people pouring it in slow over a minute or so. Any who I put it in, let it set for about 20 minutes then started it up. Let it smoke like crazy for about 15 seconds or so, then started driving down the road slowly becoming more heavy on the throttle until there was no more smoke. It seemed to have worked well and the idle is smooth as can be. So hopefully I didn't do anything wrong.
The reason I ask is because I just saw a post on another forum that states Running seafoam thru the s/c isn't a good idea. Rather you should pull off the vacuum "T" below the s/c snout then put a piece of fuel injector line on the nipple of the vacuum line that's on the lim. Then just let it suck the seafoam right out of the bottle as it will go directly into the intake and bypass the s/c.
So what do you guys think?
