What pulley are you dropping to? If so, just to save your motor, do you have mods to spport the pulley drop? If not I say NO. Don't even try dropping a pulley size unless you have a intake, PCM, DP, and T-Stat @ the least...

If you do have supporting mods, I'm sure that there is someone in a local club near you that would probably help you out

Go to Auto Zone, any auto part store, or any place like that and just tell them you want to rent a 'pulley puller'

Not really. There is a reason that there is a market for the supercharger pulley pullers and everyone does not just rent one from AutoZone.

    Yah really.

It's meant to pull off a pulley. Why wouldn't it work?

If you were someone who didnt have a MPS and were going to drop a pulley from your car, would you use it?

Done it before, and on many other cars, and on more than one occasion.

No, many of the pulleys we've pulled were put back onto another car.

If you really want to use something made for M90 pulleys, ZZP rents their unit.

Its just that dang core charge that turns most people off. You get it back, but still slapping that down $125 and they only charge roughly $25 for the "renting of the puller"

When I go to put the MPS on the blower I have here I'm going to use theirs. Since it works well with their hub.

i would recemend a 3.6, at the MAX a 3.5. we have smaller injectors and you will be maxing out with the 3.4 (98% duty) plus the gen V takes to smaller pulleys better. start off with a 3.6 and scan for knock. if its knocking its gonna pull timming and will make you slower than stock. im not even going to think about a 3.4 till i get rockers injectors AND a tune. a must have. and i already have headers and intake. i would also get a power log to go along with your mods.

a power log is a front exhuast manifold. like a mini header. just for the front cause the stock front manifolds is VERY restrictive. i love the performance gains i got from the pacesetter but im having slight issuies with tach welding the y pipe and i have some exhaust leaks. hopefully have that takin care of this weekend. no pics as of right now. and well there not pretty anyways. the paint melted instantly so they are discolered. idc tho, i just like the performance.

if you get a downpipe, powerlog, intake, 104 sparkplugs with out a tune im sure you could run the 3.6 safely. but who knows you really need to scan it for knock to see where you stand now. with a tune a 3.5. 3.5's for our cars is like 3.4's on the older gtps. 03 and older. our gen V blower takes to boost better. each pulley drop is ruffly one pound of boost.
