Are the Bilstien struts worth paying the extra? Compared to Kyb or Monroe struts? I'm looking to buy new struts just wanted to know if they are that good.

Of you want the ultimate, have the struts valved to the spring rate you have or will have installed and they will all work TOGETHER correctly.

    ^ FE4 struts

Ill get you a part number later tonight

    Billsteins are better then those.

    Monroe's suck

Comp g are good as well more of a sporty ride as opposed to the comport of Billsteins.

Kyb excel/GR2 are similar to comp g struts but ride a bit rougher I believe but they are priced right.
Squirrels are my engine. I need a Ford Regal
    04 Comp G.

For those looking to buy complete strut assemblies, steer clear of the Unity brand if you have installed the tower braces. At the site I bought mine from showed 4 1/2 stars. Well, when I was tightening the top nuts with the brace in place, 2 of the bolts stripped. The spec is 24 ft.lbs. and the torque wrench didn't even click for the 2 of them. I tightened them the same amount each time until I was getting close to the spec. I never had this issue with the OEM assemblies. The press in bolts on the top mount for the Unity brand is low grade steel. Next time, I'll check reviews at different sites before buying a product. I was in a hurry at the time. My bad.
