Thread: supercharger belt

In the engine bay is a picture of the belt routing, follow that and use a 15mm socket on the tensioner.

Pretty basic, some struggle with getting the belt over the last pulley, but its not very hard.

I'm confused. You need s step by step to put it on?

Take new belt and lay it in the sun for 15 minutes to soften it up. This helps get the bends out of it.
Put it around the crank pulley with the opening pointing to the front of the car.
Lift the bottom of the belt to the ribbed pulley at the front of the car right by the coils.
Take that same part of the belt and put it on the supercharger pulley.
Lift the top of the belt so it has it's flat side against the idler pulley (3" flat pulley) right above the a smidge toward the front of the car than the crank pulley.
Now the belt should be near the tensioning pulley at the coil packs. Put the 15mm under the belt and pull toward the front of the car, this will allow you to slip the belt onto the pulley.
Once it's on.. check that the belt is good on all the pullies.
